About the role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced dental assistant who takes pride in delivering outstanding patient care in a specialist paediatric dental practice dedicated to providing exceptional dental care for children in a supportive, caring and professional environment.

Key responsibilities

• Chairside assisting across a variety of paediatric dental procedures in our rooms, and hospital based general anaesthetics

• Infection prevention and sterilisation in accordance with current guidelines

• Maintaining accurate clinical records

• Assisting with patient flow and supporting our clinicians throughout the day

• Contributing positively to our close-knit team and provide an exceptional patient experience

About you

• Hold a Certificate III in Dental Assisting (essential)

• Have previous experience as a dental assistant

• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a warm, caring and compassionate nature with children and families

• Be reliable, organised and able to work efficiently

• Be proactive, adaptable and enjoy working as part of a collaborative team

• Take pride in personal presentation
