Electrical Engineer

Due to the continued workload and growth opportunities in the Northern Territory, we are currently looking for experienced electrical engineers for our Darwin team. 

Your experience and knowledge will be well regarded and you will play a crucial role in the development of our Building Services and Energy businesses. Specifically, you will: 

• Be a key member of our electrical engineering team responsible for electrical design for a wide variety of private, government and Defence projects of all sizes. 

• Develop your building services, lighting and electrical infrastructure design skills in the unique remote tropical Northern Territory environment. 

• Be trained in design of HV and LV Supply Authority overhead and underground distribution infrastructure. 

• Engage with clients, be involved in winning projects and deliver/review work to a high level of quality to solve our clients’ challenging problems 

• Contribute to the eminence of your team within the industry through delivery of high quality, technically complex designs of building services and electrical infrastructure. 

• Collaborate with the wider Aurecon business and contribute to the Aurecon electrical engineering network

• Knowledge of relevant codes and standards including the National Construction Code and AS/NZS 3000 requirements and expertise in applying these to designs. 

• Client facing experience, with a passion for networking and building on existing relationships.
