As we continue to grow, we are looking for a professional Property Inspector to join our team.

About the Role

This is a mobile, field-based role suited to someone who enjoys working independently and delivering high-quality results.

You will conduct scheduled residential property inspections across your allocated area while producing accurate and detailed inspection information that our clients rely on.

Unlike traditional property management roles, this position is focused solely on conducting quality property inspections.

There are:

• No after-hours leasing appointments

• No portfolio management responsibilities

• No trust accounting requirements

Your focus will be on completing professional inspections and capturing detailed information to support better property management outcomes.

As PM Collaborative continues to grow, inspection opportunities will increase in line with client demand.

This role is suited to someone seeking flexible work arrangements, with the opportunity for increased inspection volume as our client portfolio expands.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine residential property inspections

• Complete entry, exit and condition reports using inspection software

• Capture and document clear and consistent photographic evidence

• Identify maintenance issues and accurately document findings

• Communicate professionally with tenants and property managers

• Ensure inspections are completed accurately and within required timeframes

• Provide completed inspection information to the business owners for report preparation, review and issue to clients

About You

You will be someone who takes pride in producing exceptional work and enjoys working autonomously.

To be successful, you will have:

• Current Real Estate Registration Certificate (mandatory)

• Previous experience conducting property inspections or working within residential property management

• Excellent attention to detail

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Confidence using inspection software and mobile technology, or a willingness to learn

• Strong organisation and time management skills

• Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle

• A professional, friendly and customer-focused approach

If you are new to property inspections but have the right attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn, we will provide training and support to help you succeed in the role.
