Counsellor Educator – North Metro Community Alcohol and Drug Service
Cyrenian House is currently seeking an experienced and passionate Counsellor Educator with strong clinical expertise, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proven track record in the alcohol and other drug (AOD) sector. Based at our Joondalup location, this is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team committed to empowering individuals and families affected by substance use. This role focuses on treatment and prevention strategies associated with reducing the harm associated with alcohol and other drug use. The Counsellor Educator will be required to provide proficient, culturally secure counselling, education and support to consumers, families, and the local community. Experience in family and couples counselling will be highly regarded.

Cyrenian House provides a wide range of high-quality treatment services that make a positive and meaningful difference in the lives of people affected by alcohol and other drugs.
Hours of Work:
The position is offered as a maximum term contract until April 2027. (maternity leave cover) Working part-time 66 hours per fortnight, the position is level 4/5 – $96,295 – $113,725 per annum pro rata (depending on experience) plus superannuation and salary packaging options available.
