ICT Manager

About the role

Pacific Seeds is seeking an experienced ICT Manager to lead the technology function supporting its Australian operations. Based in Toowoomba, you will manage day-to-day ICT services for Pacific Seeds as part of Advanta Seeds Australia, while also supporting UPL and its related entities across Australia and New Zealand and contributing to global UPL IT projects.

Reporting to the IT Infrastructure Lead, with a matrix reporting relationship to the Managing Director, Advanta Australia, you will oversee secure and reliable infrastructure, systems and user support and lead an ICT Support Officer.

Key responsibilities

• Lead ICT operations for Pacific Seeds in Australia and provide regional support across Australia and New Zealand.

• Manage networks, servers, security, user access, SQL databases, backups, disaster recovery and communications infrastructure.

• Oversee end-user support, hardware and mobile fleets, software licensing, suppliers and ICT expenditure.

• Contribute to global UPL IT projects and continually improve systems, processes and service delivery.

About you

You are a practical, service-focused ICT professional who can work autonomously and collaborate with local, regional and global stakeholders. You will bring:

• Tertiary qualifications in IT or business and at least five to seven years’ experience in a similar commercial ICT role.

• Broad experience across infrastructure, networks, security, SQL databases, backups, firewalls and end-user support.

• Strong communication, prioritisation and problem-solving skills, advanced Excel capability and a current driver’s licence.

• A high standard of professionalism, confidentiality and cultural awareness.
