About the role
Vac Truck Industries (VTI) is an Australian OEM manufacturer, providing complete vacuum truck solutions to the civil construction, electrical, infrastructure, mining, drilling, oil, and gas industries across Australia.
Our specialised range of equipment includes hydro excavation vacuum systems (vac trucks), high-pressure hydro drain cleaning jetter systems, and liquid waste collection systems (sucker trucks) — all available in a broad range of volume sizes and power capacities.
VTI is currently seeking a mechanically minded and detail-focused individual to join our team.
This role would suit someone who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in producing high-quality outcomes. A trade qualification is beneficial but not essential — we encourage applications from candidates who have a genuine interest in mechanical assembly or the automotive industry and are willing to learn.
In this position, you will support the build, fit-out, testing, and servicing of our innovative vacuum truck systems. Full training and development will be provided to the right candidate who demonstrates reliability, initiative, and strong attention to detail.
You will work collaboratively with our experienced team to meet productivity and quality standards while contributing to overall workshop outcomes.
Applicant must live locally. We are not looking at sponsoring overseas workers.
