The Nepean Mental Health Centre provides inpatient care for people experiencing acute mental health issues through the short-stay Psychiatric Emergency Care Centre (PECC), the Acute Mental Health Unit, Mental Health High Dependency Unit, and Older Persons Mental Health Unit. We support our Patients by linking them to case managers for ongoing treatment and support within an environment appropriate to the person's needs.

Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District is seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Nurse Unit Manager (CNUM) to lead a dynamic team committed to delivering safe, compassionate and person-centred care. Working collaboratively with patients, families, carers and multidisciplinary teams, you will play a vital role in fostering a positive clinical environment while supporting high-quality outcomes for consumers and the broader community.

As the Clinical Nurse Unit Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, coordination and management of the unit, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective and evidence-based nursing care. You will oversee all aspects of the ward environment, drive clinical excellence, support and develop staff, and ensure the efficient use of resources. This pivotal leadership role requires a strong clinical leader who can balance operational management with a commitment to continuous improvement, quality patient care and positive team culture.
