Are you an experienced plant operator or a hardworking civil labourer looking for your next challenge? Randstad is currently seeking civil labourers and plant operators for local councils across the Northern region.

This is an excellent opportunity for those with a background in roadworks and heavy machinery to secure work in a team-oriented environment. We are looking for dedicated individuals who take pride in building and maintaining community infrastructure, with a proactive approach to safety and the ability to operate plant equipment with precision.

Your day-to-day will be varied, covering road maintenance and rural projects. Tasks include:

• Plant & Truck Operation: Operating excavators, skid steers and rollers.

• Road Maintenance: Handling construction tasks, including potholing and manual shoveling.

• Vegetation Management: Rural tree trimming using chainsaws and pole saws.

• Traffic Management: Setting up signage and managing work zones to keep the team and public safe.

Licences and Qualifications Highly Desired:

• Medium Rigid (MR) Licence: Mandatory.

• White Card: General construction induction.
