Salary: (FRV 3) $67,138 - $78,411 p.a. plus superannuation
Tenure: Fixed Term (September 2026 to July 2027)

The Role - Administration Support

An excellent opportunity to support the efficient delivery of operational training programs that help keep Victorian communities safe. As Administration Support, you will provide high-quality administrative and coordination support to the Operational Training Development Department, contributing to training projects, events, records management, and stakeholder engagement. Working within a collaborative environment, you will help ensure training resources, systems, and processes are maintained effectively to support Fire Rescue Victoria’s operational readiness.

Functional Accountabilities:

• Provide administrative support to the Training Development Leadership Team.

• Support the coordination and delivery of training projects.

• Coordinate training events, workshops, and stakeholder activities.

• Maintain accurate training records, files, and databases.

• Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and action items.

• Collate training data and prepare supporting documentation.

• Contribute to team support and continuous improvement initiatives.

 The Team

The Operational Training Directorate ensures Fire Rescue Victoria is operationally ready to respond to fire and emergency events in a timely, coordinated and effective manner. The team is responsible for supporting the capability and preparedness of firefighters through world-class training, equipment, and development programs that enable safe and effective emergency response across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria

• To be successful in this position, you will have:

• Certificate in Administration or a related field (desirable).

• Experience providing high-quality administrative support in a busy environment.

• Strong attention to detail and information management skills.

• Well-developed written communication and customer service capabilities.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Commitment to compliance, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
