Receptionist

About the role

Core and Motion is seeking an experienced Receptionist to join our team in our Malvern and East Brighton Clinics. This part-time role will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and administrative support to our growing Allied Health practice.

What you'll be doing

1. Greeting and welcoming patients and clients in a friendly and professional manner

2. Managing inbound phone calls, emails and correspondence in a timely and efficient manner

3. Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments

4. Maintaining detailed patient records and updating electronic medical systems

5. Management of patient accounts such as medicare, TAC, Workcover.

6. Providing administrative support to the clinical team as required

7. Leading our mainly part time administrative team

What we're looking for

1. Experience as a Receptionist or Administrative Assistant in a healthcare or medical setting

2. Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to provide a warm and welcoming experience for patients

3. Excellent organisational and multi-tasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritise and juggle multiple responsibilities

4. Understanding in using electronic medical records systems is helpful

5. Some understanding of accounts

6. A high level of attention to detail and accuracy in your work

7. A positive, collaborative attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

8. Must have Australian work rights
