Casual Administrative Assistant — Town Planning

We're a town planning firm looking for an organised and reliable Administrative Assistant to support our team on a casual basis. This is a flexible, part-time role suited to someone who enjoys detail-focused admin work and is comfortable navigating online systems.

About the Role
You'll provide day-to-day administrative support to our planning team, including:

• Managing, sorting, and filing correspondence and emails

• Looking up and cross-referencing property, zoning, and planning information using council mapping systems (e.g. local council planning portals, LEP mapping)

• Preparing and organising documents for planning applications and reports

• General data entry and record-keeping

• Other ad hoc administrative tasks as required

Hours & Pay

• Casual position, up to 15 hours per week

• Flexible scheduling (negotiable)

About You

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

• Comfortable learning new software and online mapping/planning systems

• Confident using email and basic office software (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision

• Interest in or prior exposure to town planning, property, or local government processes is highly regarded but not essential
