About the role
As our new Senior Application Systems Analyst, you'll play a key role in translating business requirements, user stories and process designs into clear, detailed functional and technical specifications. Sitting within our Technology division and reporting to the Manager Application Systems DevOps, you'll help ensure system enhancements across CareSuper's member servicing application systems are delivered efficiently, accurately and in line with governance and compliance expectations.

Please note, this is a 12-month fixed term contract.
 
You will:

• Review and analyse business requirements, user stories and process designs to understand system change needs and delivery impacts.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, SMEs and Technology teams to clarify requirements, assumptions, business rules and process impacts.
• Translate business requirements into detailed low level design specifications that support development and testing.
• Support impact assessments across applications, integrations, interfaces and data flows.
• Work closely with Test Leads and Test Analysts to support the development of effective test cases.
• Maintain clear and accurate systems documentation, while helping to identify and escalate risks, dependencies and delivery considerations early.

What we're looking for
We're looking for a systems analyst who can bring structure, clarity and strong technical documentation skills to complex systems change.

You'll thrive in this role if you have:

• Demonstrated experience as a Systems Analyst, including developing clear functional and technical specifications.
• Strong ability to review business requirements, user stories, process designs, assumptions, business rules and system impacts.
• A solid understanding of the systems development lifecycle, with experience working across agile and waterfall project delivery environments.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with confidence engaging business and technology stakeholders.
• Strong planning, prioritisation and problem-solving skills, with the flexibility to manage changing requirements and high volumes of work.
• Formal qualifications in a technology-related discipline. Experience in superannuation or financial services would be highly regarded.
