About the role
Insurance Administrator
Full Time Permanent | Tamworth
Your new company
Work with a well-known general insurance brand as an Authorised Representative Service Assistant and join the team on a permanent basis. This rare and exciting opportunity will allow you to apply your well-developed skillset within a close-knit and supportive environment. They have a strong presence & relationships throughout regional Australia.
The role will work closely with the principal authorised representative.
You will be responsible for the following
Manage client portfolios, claims, policies, and contracts end-to-end including sales
Communicate with clients via phone, email and face-to-face meetings to support their insurance needs
Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls and enquiries ensuring customer satisfaction
Process essential documents accurately and efficiently
Assist in the renewal of insurance policies
Follow up on any relevant payments with clients
Other Ad-Hoc duties as required
Ensuring compliance & industry training standards are meet as required.
What you’ll need to succeed
Previous administration experience
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage large client portfolios with demonstrated experience
Ability to liaise with key stakeholders and assist when required
Intermediate-advanced computer skills with the ability to use multiple systems effectively
Strong attention to detail, organisation, and innovative thinking skills
Ability to work independently as well as within a team
Previous experience within Insurance is highly desirable
Successful candidate must be willing to obtain a relevant industry qualification (T2 – General Insurance Compliance – General Advice)
