HR Business Partner - 12 Month Maternity Cover Contract

Exciting opportunity for a HR Business Partner to join a fast-growing aged care provider. This is an initial 12-month Fixed Term Maternity Leave cover contract, with the potential for extension.

About the roleReporting to our WA HR Manager, you’ll partner with clinical managers across our aged care facilities to drive positive HR outcomes. The role is based at our corporate office in West Perth, supported by a HR team, and involves regular travel to our Perth-based aged care homes. Your key responsibilities will include:Providing high level, timely and professional advice to the management team in relation to all HR mattersSupporting the HR leadership team, helping to drive a culture of continuous improvement.Develop and maintain HR documentation and HR systems, including staff record keeping and policies and procedures, to ensure compliance with relevant workplace legislationInvestigate and resolve complex employee relations issues, performance problems, and grievances.

What you’ll bringProven experience as a HR Business PartnerTertiary Qualification in HR (or equivalent experience)Knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply the Fair Work Act, Enterprise Agreements and other workplace related legislation/regulationsAbility to build strong relationships and collaborate with clinical stakeholdersExperience with complex case managementDriver’s license and willingness to travel to facilities across the Perth metro regionNational Police Clearance (obtained within past 6 months), current Influenza vaccination, full Australian working rights.
