Electrician - Construction & Industrial

Due to this growth, multiple positions are available for experienced Electricians seeking long-term opportunities across major construction and infrastructure projects.

We are seeking experienced Construction & Industrial Electricians to join our Adelaide-based team and support the delivery of high-voltage infrastructure projects throughout Australia.

The position involves regular interstate travel and rotation-based project rosters, working across substations, renewable energy facilities, data centres and other major electrical infrastructure projects.

Depending on your experience, responsibilities may include:

• Electrical construction and installation works

• Installation of electrical equipment and associated infrastructure

• Installation of cable tray, ladder, conduit and support systems

• Installation and termination of LV power, control and instrumentation cabling

• Switchboard, control panel and field equipment installation

• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentation

• Electrical testing and verification of completed installations

• Fault finding and rectification of electrical installations

• Assisting with pre-commissioning and commissioning activities

• Working within permit, isolation and access systems

• Completion of safety, quality and project documentation

• Coordinating work activities, equipment and materials

• Leading small work crews where appropriate

• Supporting apprentices and less-experienced personnel

• Liaising professionally with clients, contractors and site representatives

This role provides the opportunity to apply your electrical construction and industrial experience across major high-voltage infrastructure projects while developing broader skills and experience within the industry.

You will have a strong construction or industrial electrical background and be comfortable working independently when required, while also contributing positively within a project team.

You will be adaptable, willing to travel and interested in working across a diverse range of major electrical and high-voltage infrastructure projects throughout Australia.

• Current unrestricted A Class Electrical Licence

• Demonstrated electrical construction and/or industrial experience

• Current Construction Industry White Card

• Current First Aid, CPR and Low Voltage Rescue certification

• Minimum Class C Driver's Licence

• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics

• Experience with electrical installation, cabling and termination

• Ability to complete safety, quality and project documentation

• Willingness to travel and work interstate project rosters

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a project team

• Commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship and site safety

The following qualifications and experience will be viewed favourably but are not essential:

• Substation or high-voltage infrastructure project experience

• Electrical testing and pre-commissioning experience

• High-voltage cable installation experience

• Nationally recognised High Voltage Switching qualification

• Experience working under electrical permit and access systems

• High Risk Work Licences, including WP, LF, DG or RB

• Working at Heights certification

• Telehandler Gold Card

• Adelaide-based employment with project work across Australia
