Registered Nurse | PACU

Permanent Part-Time/Full-Time Opportunities 

Are you an experienced PACU Registered Nurse looking for your next opportunity on the Sunshine Coast?

Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital is seeking passionate Registered Nurses with PACU experience to join our dedicated Perioperative team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive, collaborative environment where your expertise and contribution are valued.

As a PACU Registered Nurse, you will play a key role in providing high-quality, patient-centred care to patients recovering from anaesthesia and surgery. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will use your clinical expertise to ensure safe, effective and compassionate patient care throughout the recovery journey.

You will have the opportunity to work across a dynamic perioperative environment while developing your skills and being supported by an experienced team.

Essential Criteria

• Must have a minimum of 2 years’ PACU experience 
• Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
• Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Highly organised with a proven ability to manage emergency situations
• Demonstrates strong adaptability in dynamic situations
• Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
• A positive and professional approach to patient care

Remuneration: A base hourly rate of $39.96 - $54.01 + superannuation, exclusive of penalties and allowances (*QLD RN/Midwife Level 1 Gr1-Gr8*)
