About the role
Pay: $36-$45 per hour + KM allowance + paid travel time
Employment type: Casual / ongoing shifts available
Quality support starts with people who truly care. At Brighter Days Support, we provide person-centred support to young people and families with empathy, consistency, and respect.
We are looking for calm, reliable, and positive Support Workers to support teens and young adults with ASD, ADHD, and other neurodevelopmental needs.
This role may suit someone with experience or interest in disability support, youth work, teaching, education support, psychology, allied health, community services, or mentoring.
About the RoleYou will provide practical, social, and emotional support to help young people build confidence, independence, and everyday life skills.
Depending on the participant’s goals, support may include:
Building routine and structure
Social skills and confidence building
Community access and outings
Support with planning, organisation, and executive functioning
Encouragement with hobbies, interests, and personal goals
Modelling independence and positive decision-making
Emotional regulation support
Mentoring and companionship
Light daily living support
This role is ideal for someone who is grounded, patient, emotionally mature, and able to build trust with teens and young adults.
ShiftsWe have a range of ongoing shifts available, including:
After-school shifts
Weekday afternoons
Weekend support
Community access shifts
Regular, recurring participant matches
We aim to match Support Workers with participants based on personality, skills, availability, location, and shared interests.
