Kiama Glass are searching for a highly skilled and self-motived Tradesman / Glazier to join our team. We are looking for an experienced and qualified tradesman for a permanent role that includes architectural work with tight tolerances and all aspects of domestic and commercial glazing.

The right candidate will be offered a full-time position after a suitable trial. You should be trade qualified with the appropriate experience, enthusiastic and engaged in your work, have a high level of written and verbal communication skills, and be able to work in a team or unsupervised. A manual driver’s licence is essential, with a company vehicle provided for work-related duties. We are looking for someone seeking a long-term role and who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.

To be considered for this role you will have:

·         Appropriate Trade Qualification

·         A minimum 2 years’ industry experience

·         All standard OH&S & White Card Qualifications

·         Current Drivers Licence

·         Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines

·         Strong Planning & Organisational Skills

·         Ability to lead, problem solve and deliver results with high attention to detail & accuracy

·         Sound Communication skills both oral and written

·         Intermediate to advanced computer/technology skills

Day to day responsibilities of this role will include:

o   Day to day running of allocated projects & tasks including measure, manufacture and installation of:

o    Shower Screens (framed and frameless)

o    Splashbacks & Mirrors

o    Balustrading and Pool Fence

o    Cut, fabricate and install windows/doors including sill/sub heads and aluminium products

o    Removal and reglazing aluminium and timber window/door panels

o    General onsite work as required.

o     Job management via iPad based CRM

o     General supervision of all trades, sub-trades and personnel

o     Recognise and solve project issues as they arise and manage accordingly.

o     Document or draw up work instructions for office/workshop as required

o     Material ordering and project scheduling as required.
