Director

(2-year term)

Indie Education is a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee, and a registered charity. The principal activity of the Company is the operation of Independent Schools (15-18 year old students), including a Registered Training Organisation. 

Indie Education is governed by directors representing each Australian State, and with international connections. There is a minimum of ten scheduled board meetings per year. Board appointments are for a two-year term with the option to re-stand for election for a further two years.

This is a voluntary position with all director costs reimbursed. 

Key attributes:

• Ideally, as a director, you will enhance the diversity of our Board in line with the numerous communities we support, and strengthen the educational, legal, and financial skills of our Board and advisory committees.

• Executive/senior management experience in organisations of similar size and stage of growth as Indie Education.

• Experience within the fields of operations we cover including secondary education and as a registered training organisation.

• The ability to work with a team in a respectful, collegiate, and collaborative manner.
