Early Childhood Teacher

WE ARE SEEKING

A dedicated and enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at Katandra West Kindergarten in 2027. Someone who can build respectful, collaborative relationships with the community, families, children and their team. Katandra West Kindergarten will offer a funded 3 and 4 year old integrated kindergarten program 3 days a week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. We are on the lookout for someone with leadership qualities to be able to run a standalone service with the support from the Management Team.

This position provides flexibility to pick up additional relief work across all GRPSA services.

T E R M / D A Y S / H O U R S

Part time, ongoing role, 18.75hrs per week Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. 9.5 hours of non-contact time, plus 1 hour of Nominated Supervisor time per week = 29.25 hrs per week

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent. Early Childhood VIT registration, Mandatory Reporting, Foundations - Child Safety Training and First Aid certificates. Prior experience as an Early Childhood Teacher highly required.
