Mechanic

About the role

We're looking for an experienced mechanic who genuinely understands old cars. You will need to be a diverse mechanic who can do several different roles, including diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues, perform routine maintenance and restoration tasks, collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality workmanship, engage with customers to understand their needs and provide expert advice. At Creative Custom Cars, no two projects are the same. We work on classic, custom and performance vehicles, and we're looking for someone who takes pride in doing things properly.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues
• Perform routine maintenance and restoration tasks
• Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality workmanship
• Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide expert advice

About you

• A skilled mechanic with experience in classic car restoration and maintenance
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
• A genuine love of older cars
• Experience with older cars is more important than simply having worked in a modern workshop
