About the RoleDays Eggs is currently recruiting a Full-Time Store Person to join our team at our Lower Light Grading and Distribution Facility.
This is not your average Store Person role. You will work closely as part of a small but essential team, supporting the day-to-day operation of our warehouse and distribution activities. This all-rounder role will involve receivals, dispatch, order picking, packing and general warehouse duties.
As a Store Person, you willReporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:
Picking and packing customer orders;
Loading and unloading vehicles;
Participating in periodical stock takes;
Operating forklifts and pallet jacks;
Maintaining stock and inventory records;
Assisting with the upkeep and cleanliness of the warehouse;
Following all food safety, hygiene and GMP procedures and policies;
Reporting any non-conformances to the FSQM team; and
Completing any other duties as assigned and within your ability.
As an experienced Warehouse Store Person, you will possess:
Exceptional attention to detail;
A sound level of written and verbal communication;
The ability to lift boxes up to 15kg;
The ability to work in both chiller and dry warehouse areas;
The confidence to speak and interact with others;
A positive, can-do attitude; and
The ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A current Driver’s Licence;
A current High Risk Forklift Licence, LF class;
A National Police Check, or willingness to obtain one;
Well-developed time management skills; and
Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.
Heavy Rigid Driver’s Licence.
