Window and Door Maintenance/Service Technician

Jason Windows employs over 350 employees, operates out of our purpose-built premises in Welshpool and has an office in Bunbury supporting the South-West region. It is widely recognised for its premium aluminium window and door products in the WA market.

The Role
We are looking for a technically minded, customer focused person to join our Service Technician team, servicing and repairing our extensive window and door product range throughout both the building and warranty periods. The role is out on the road working in new or pre-existing homes, performing anywhere from 8 to 12 maintenance or repair requests per day. The successful applicant will be provided with full on-the-job training to understand our product types and our processes. Once training is complete, the successful applicant will be provided with a service vehicle, mobile phone and their own metro area to service. Responsibilities of a Service Technician include:

• Servicing, repair and/or replacement of Jason Windows’s range of products including windows, doors, security doors/screens, fly doors/screens
• Problem solve issues being experienced to correctly repair or replace products
• De-glazing and re-glazing of windows and doors
• Updating completion of jobs via company provided tablet
• High levels of customer service, communicating with customers in person and over the phone

About You

• Hold a valid C class Drivers' License
• Hold a Construction Safety White Card or ability to obtain one
• Ability to obtain, or have a current, Police Clearance and Security License
• Must have high Customer Service skills with the ability to communicate with all customers including home owners and supervisors in person and over the phone. 
• Able to use hand and power tools
• Must be physically fit with no limitations. A drug and alcohol and fitness assessment will be part of the recruitment process
• Carpentry or fixing/repair experience would be highly regarded.
