Overview

We are seeking an organised and practical Production Manager to coordinate projects through our workshop and into site delivery.

Working closely with Project Managers, workshop leadership and senior management, you will help manage production schedules, labour requirements, project priorities and upcoming site works.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Production Coordinator, Planner, Scheduler, Project Coordinator or Workshop Supervisor looking to step into a broader management role.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the production and delivery schedule

• Coordinate workshop loading across multiple projects

• Forecast labour and resource requirements

• Work with Project Managers to confirm priorities and project readiness

• Coordinate production activities with the Workshop Supervisor

• Assist with planning site labour, equipment and mobilisation

• Monitor progress and identify potential delays

• Communicate schedule and delivery updates

• Support customer communication when timeframes change

• Improve planning, reporting and workflow across the business

Experience & Qualifications

The successful applicant will ideally have:

• Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, engineering or project delivery

• Strong planning, scheduling and organisational skills

• Experience coordinating multiple projects or work packages

• The ability to work effectively with Project Managers, supervisors and tradespeople

• Good communication and problem-solving skills

• Competent computer skills, including Microsoft Excel

• Experience with ERP, scheduling or project-management systems

• Australian working rights and a current driver’s licence

A trade, engineering, manufacturing or project-management background will be highly regarded.
