Your Roll

As Assistant Manager / 2IC, you will be responsible for assisting in leading the team, driving store performance, and delivering an exceptional customer journey.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead, motivate, and coach your team to deliver outstanding service and achieve sales targets

• Drive a luxury customer experience, building genuine connections with each client

• Oversee daily operations including, but not limited to, stock control, store presentation and visual merchandising

• Ensure compliance with brand and company policies

• Collaborate with our Managers and Head Office teams to support marketing, training and reporting needs

• Play a hands-on role in assisting customers with frame selection and eyewear styling

• Foster a team culture that’s positive, professional, and up to date with the latest in the optical industry

What We’re Looking For

• Proven Retail experience is essential

• Optical Experience is preferred but not essential. We provide comprehensive training

• Customer Centric Approach: A passion for customer service and leading by example 

• Teamwork minded: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment 

• Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in transactions and product handling 

• Visual merchandising and stock management experience 

• Flexibility to work across weekends and peak trading periods
