Bid Manager / Senior Bid Coordinator – Construction

Prebuilt is looking for an experienced Bid Manager or Senior Bid Coordinator who wants more than simply compiling tender documents.

This is an opportunity to take real ownership of our bid and tender function, working directly with our estimating, design, project delivery and leadership teams to help secure the next generation of Prebuilt projects across Victoria and New South Wales.

Based at our 9,000m² manufacturing facility in Kilsyth, you'll be part of an established Australian modular construction business that has been designing and delivering high-quality permanent modular buildings for more than 20 years.

You'll be joining a collaborative business where you'll have visibility across the entire project lifecycle, from an opportunity first landing through to seeing the finished building leave our factory.

As our Bid Manager, you'll coordinate and drive high-quality tender submissions from opportunity through to lodgement.

You'll bring together technical, commercial and project information from across the business and turn it into clear, compelling and professional submissions that showcase Prebuilt's capabilities.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing tenders, bids, proposals, EOIs and capability submissions

• Developing submission plans and coordinating input from internal stakeholders

• Working closely with estimating, design, construction and leadership teams

• Coordinating pricing, methodologies, project experience and supporting documentation

• Reviewing tender requirements and ensuring all compliance criteria are addressed

• Writing, editing and presenting compelling tender responses

• Managing tender programs, deadlines and submission requirements

• Maintaining and improving our bid library, templates and project case studies

• Monitoring tender portals and upcoming opportunities

• Researching prospective clients and projects

• Continuously improving the way Prebuilt approaches bids and submissions

We're open to speaking with both experienced Bid Managers and strong Senior Bid Coordinators who are ready to take the next step in their career.

Ideally, you'll bring:

• Experience in bids, tenders or submissions within construction, engineering, architecture, infrastructure or a related industry

• Strong written communication and document presentation skills

• The ability to interpret tender documentation and identify key requirements

• Exceptional organisation and attention to detail

• Confidence coordinating information from multiple stakeholders

• The ability to manage competing deadlines without losing sight of quality

• Strong Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills

• A proactive approach – you're comfortable chasing information, asking questions and keeping a submission moving

Experience with tender portals, bid management systems or Adobe/InDesign would be advantageous, but isn't essential.
