Family Law Paralegal/Legal Assistant

We currently have a position available for a Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join our team.

This role will see the successful candidate:

• Working with our Family Lawyers to successfully support them with day-to-day operations of files/client management;

• Drafting and producing correspondence and legal documents, including Court documents for filing in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia; 

• Cultivating strong relationships with our clients and fellow team members;

• Supporting our legal team with optimising the use of internal systems to process information;

• Preparing matters for conference and Court attendances;

• Issuing client invoices and general file accounting.

To be successful in obtaining this position, you must have:

• A passion for family law;

• Ability to be a respectful and supportive team player; 

• Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills;

• A polite, professional manner and a mature attitude;

• Understand empathy and confidentiality;

• Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks;

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
