Ward Civil & Environmental Engineering (Ward) is a leading Tier 2, multi-faceted civil and environmental engineering contractor with a history of over 50 years. Projects undertaken by Ward can range up to $150M, including road works, bulk earthworks, mining and renewable projects, remediation and utility installation.

 The role will include:

• Estimating across a diverse range of sectors 
• First Principle estimating 
• Project programming & analysis of the tender documentation 
• Supervision and development of support staff including engineering assistants

To succeed in this role, you will require:

• 8+ years’ experience in the Civil Construction industry in estimating
• Demonstrated experience with DTMR specifications and schedules
• Experience with the development of methodologies and tender programs
• Experience preparing subcontractor and supply RFQ packages
• Expert Estimation software experience
• Exposure to Microsoft Project and/or P6 Primavera is desirable
• Ability to work autonomously with the small project team in QLD
