About the role
Full-Time | Mareeba, QLD
Tableland Aircraft Maintenance & Cape Air Transport is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) / Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) (Or AME who is close to licence issue) to join our growing team in Mareeba, North Queensland.
If you're looking for a role where every day is different, this is it. We are a busy general aviation maintenance organisation carrying out everything from scheduled maintenance through to major rebuilds, aircraft refurbishments, remote breakdown support and component overhauls.

About the RoleYou'll be responsible for carrying out routine and non-routine maintenance on a variety of general aviation aircraft and components, ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with CASA regulations, maintenance manuals and company procedures.
The role offers a diverse workload, including:
Scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance
Aircraft refurbishments
Major rebuilds
Component overhauls
Remote breakdown and recovery work
Troubleshooting and defect rectification
To be considered for this role, you must have:
Experience in General Aviation (AME) or A current CASA Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence (LAME)
Demonstrated general aviation maintenance experience (essential)
Strong knowledge of CASA regulations and maintenance practices
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
A positive attitude with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Full-time, permanent position
Above-award wages
Starting salary from $98,000 - $135,000 + Super, with higher remuneration based on experience and licence coverage
