Verge Legal is an established general practice with offices in the Melbourne CBD & suburbs that provides a range of legal services including commercial law, property law, migration law, criminal law, and litigation/dispute resolution. Our firm caters to a multicultural base, specialising in providing legal services for the Chinese community.    

ABOUT THE ROLE

In this full-time role, you will:

• Manage a diverse range of commercial transactions and corporate advisory matters in a client-facing role.

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts while delivering practical legal advice to clients.

• Assist in client relationship management, driving business growth and building long-term relationships.

• Build strong rapport with existing and prospective clients, taking an active role in networking, business development, and securing new clients.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Admitted lawyer with a minimum 2 years post-admission experience in commercial law.

• Fluency in spoken and written Chinese (Mandarin) to effectively advise and communicate with our client base.

• Excellent interpersonal communication, networking and business development skills.

• Ability to work efficiently and run matters independently.
