CJD Equipment is seeking a qualified Workshop Technician - Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our Hobart team.

Working with leading brands including Kenworth, DAF and Volvo Construction Equipment, you'll be part of a professional workshop that values quality workmanship, safety, and teamwork.

About the Role:

• Diagnose, service and repair heavy vehicles and construction equipment.

• Complete maintenance, repairs and component rebuilds.

• Use computer-based diagnostic systems and workshop technology.

• Deliver high-quality workmanship in line with manufacturer and customer standards.

• Maintain a strong focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

What We’re Looking For:

• An Australian-recognised Heavy Diesel Mechanic trade qualification.

• Experience servicing and repairing heavy vehicles and/or earthmoving equipment.

• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills, including electrical systems.

• Competency using diagnostic software and computer-based systems.

• A commitment to safety, quality workmanship and continuous improvement.

• A positive attitude and strong communication skills.
