Baden Powell Activity Centre is looking for a few legends to join our outdoor activity crew. If you love the outdoors, enjoy working with people, and don’t mind getting paid to run activities all day, we’d love to hear from you.
Our instructors get to focus on the fun stuff: High Ropes, Leap of Faith, Laser Tag, Flying Fox and many more activities.
No camp cooking, kitchen shifts, or overnight supervision involved.
Just good people, good vibes, and outdoor work.
Experience is great, but attitude and energy matter just as much.
Casual positions with flexible shifts available.

Position SummaryThe Activity Instructor works within a small team to facilitate a variety of activities and programs for customers of Baden Powell Activity Centre. The Activity Instructor is required to engage with, lead, guide, educate, and supervise activities for activity centre customers as they enjoy a variety of structured outdoor recreational and campsite-based activities.
Facilitation of Activities & Supervision: Lead and supervise Groups in outdoor activities, ensuring the safety of all participants.
Camp Duties
Develop and maintain positive public relations with local schools, groups, and authorities.
Develop and maintain good relations with all participants, teachers, carers, and leaders.
Work collaboratively with other members of the Activities team to ensure activities are supervised, smoothly run and safe for Members.
Treat all participants with dignity and respect and observe professional boundaries.
Recognise the needs of activity participants at various stages of development.
Attend staff meetings, in-service courses, workshops, etc. as required.
Administration: Ensure Activity Standard Operation Procedures (SOP’s) are read and signed off as read and understood
Key Capabilities & RequirementsQualification, Training & Experience
Certificate III or IV Outdoor Education or related discipline, or appropriate industry experience.
Current First Aid and CPR Certificates.
Previous experience working with children and/or young people (desirable).
Previous experience in an outdoor education/outdoor recreation role.
Essential Requirements
Right to work in Australia
Ability to work flexible hours as & when needed
Current Working with Children Check and National Police Check
Australian Driving License and own vehicle
NB: pay rate will vary if under 20 years of age.
