ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced CT Modality Leader to oversee the day-to-day operations and performance of our CT services across our Apex Radiology locations. This is a hands-on leadership role, combining clinical expertise with team leadership, quality oversight, and service development.

You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality patient care, efficient workflow management, and the safe, effective use of CT equipment, while supporting the ongoing growth and optimisation of CT services across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading and coordinating CT operations across sites, ensuring high-quality imaging, workflow efficiency, and service delivery
• Supervising and supporting the CT team, including performance reviews, and ongoing development
• Maintaining clinical excellence by ensuring evidence-based protocol development, correct scanning techniques, quality control procedures, and accurate documentation
• Acting as a key point of contact for operational issues, including after-hours support and equipment troubleshooting
• Collaborating with Radiologists, technical teams, and stakeholders to support service delivery and continuous improvement
• Driving quality initiatives, audits, and compliance with regulatory and company standards
• Supporting the growth of CT services, including input into new site planning, equipment selection, and technology advancements
• To be a valued member of our Apex Radiology Leadership Team

About You

• Bachelor of Medical Imaging or equivalent (minimum of 10 years of industry experience and minimum of 5 years CT experience)
• Current AHPRA registration
• Western Australian Radiation Use Licence (or eligibility)
• Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage, support, and develop high-performing teams
• Strong clinical knowledge with a commitment to quality, safety, and patient care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
• Confident working across RIS/PACS systems and Microsoft Office programs
• A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and service development
