About the Role

As a Bottle Shop Attendant, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining a clean, organised, and well-stocked store. You will assist customers with product selections, process sales transactions, and help ensure the bottle shop operates efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient customer service

• Processing sales transactions accurately through the POS system

• Assisting customers with product recommendations and enquiries

• Receiving, unpacking, and replenishing stock

• Maintaining store presentation and cleanliness standards

• Monitoring inventory levels and reporting stock requirements

• Ensuring compliance with responsible service of alcohol regulations

• Working collaboratively with the wider hotel team.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous retail, bottle shop, hospitality, or customer service experience (preferred but not essential)

• A current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• A positive attitude and strong work ethic

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

• Reliability, flexibility, and availability to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays

• The ability to undertake some manual handling and lifting duties
