About The Role
This role sits within the Core Systems Replacement (CSR) Program, a major transformation initiative to modernise Council’s enterprise systems.
The Integration Specialist is responsible for designing, developing and supporting system integrations across Council’s core applications. The role ensures seamless data exchange, system interoperability, and alignment with Council’s enterprise architecture and integration strategy.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, vendors and technical teams to deliver secure, scalable and efficient integrations that support improved service delivery and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop and implement system integrations across Council platformsConfigure and manage integrations using platforms such as Azure Integration Services, Dell Boomi and FMESupport the delivery of integration components within the CSR programCollaborate with vendors and internal teams to define integration requirements and solutionsEnsure data integrity, security and governance across integrated systemsMonitor and troubleshoot integration performance and incidentsDevelop and maintain technical documentation, standards and integration patternsContribute to integration architecture, roadmap and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
Proven experience in integration development and support within complex environmentsStrong understanding of integration platforms, including Azure Integration Services, Dell Boomi and/or FMEExperience working with APIs, data transformation, and system interoperabilityStrong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work collaboratively with technical and business stakeholdersExcellent communication and documentation skillsA proactive, adaptable and customer-focused approach
Key Selection Criteria

Demonstrated experience with integration platforms such as Azure Integration Services, Dell Boomi, FME or similarExperience designing and implementing system integrations, APIs and data flowsStrong understanding of data structures, integration patterns and system architectureExperience working in project delivery environments, ideally within large transformation programsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesStrong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
You may be required to undertake practical testing, work preference profiling / psychometric testing, functional capacity assessment (physical) or aptitude testing.
The successful candidate will be asked to produce a clear Working with Children Check and will be asked to consent to a national police check (and where relevant an ‘international criminal history check’), subject to the operation of spent conviction laws.
