About the role:

CSR are seeking an experienced State Transport Operations Manager to lead transport operations across Queensland, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective service delivery while driving operational performance and continuous improvement.

Reporting into the national leadership team, you will oversee transport partners, scheduling teams, compliance, budgets, and operational performance, while building strong stakeholder relationships and driving best practice across the network.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily transport operations across the state.
• Drive performance across safety, service, and cost metrics.
• Manage transport providers and operational stakeholder relationships.
• Ensure compliance with CoR, fatigue management, HVNL, load restraint, and mass management requirements.
• Identify and implement operational improvement initiatives.
• Manage budgets, cost controls, and resource planning.
• Analyse operational data to improve performance and mitigate risk.
• Lead and develop transport supervisors and schedulers.

What You'll Bring

• Proven experience in a senior transport, logistics, or operations leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of transport compliance and industry regulations.
• Demonstrated success managing operational performance, budgets, and carrier networks.
• Experience with Transport Management Systems (TMS).
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• A results-driven approach with a commitment to safety and operational excellence.
• Qualifications in Transport, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business (desirable)
