We’re looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician who enjoys getting stuck into a challenge and keeping plant and production equipment running at its best.

This is a hands-on role where no two days are exactly the same. You’ll be troubleshooting faults, carrying out preventative maintenance and working closely with the production team to keep downtime to a minimum.

What you’ll be doing

• Keeping fixed plant and production equipment running smoothly
• Tackling breakdowns and carrying out preventative maintenance
• Finding and fixing mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults
• Using your problem-solving skills to get equipment back up and running
• Completing maintenance work safely and to a high standard
• Keeping accurate records of repairs and maintenance
• Working with the production team to prevent unnecessary downtime

What you’ll bring

• Cert III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (or equivalent)
• EWP, Working at Heights and LF Forklift licences
• Experience maintaining industrial or manufacturing equipment
• Strong mechanical fault-finding skills
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Confident using hand and power tools
• Welding experience
• A strong focus on safety
• Good organisation and time management
• Great communication skills and a team-first attitude

Bonus points

• Experience with a CMMS or asset management system
• Restricted Electrical Licence
