Trade Assistant/Labourer - Day Shift

Position: Assist with the general day to day support functions in a busy stainless steel fabrication shop. Perform daily equipment checks and maintain all welding equipment. Perform stock takes and maintain clothing register. Assist with Bead Blasting when required and various other workshop duties. 

Conditions: Very clean workshop with well organised jobs. Friendly team culture, work with highly skilled trades team. This is a casual position. 

Start: Immediately

Shift: Day Shift

Rates: $49.61 per hour, plus Superannuation and overtime

You will have:

• Previous experience as a Factory Hand/Trade Assistant would be desirable

• Ability to be trained to operate Bead Blaster or previous experience as a spray painter/sand blaster

• Forklift license is a must

This is a hands-on position requiring physical labour. 

Successful candidates will undergo a pre-employment medical which includes drug and alcohol testing, a police check and reference checks.
