About the role
Exciting new opportunities at Advanced Dental Artistry have become available due to a long term staff member relocating, and we are looking for an experienced Oral Health Therapist to work in and lead our Hygiene Department.
Who We AreAt Advanced Dental Artistry, we’re known for delivering high-quality, long-term dental care with a strong focus on patient comfort and experience. This is a high performing clinic who is known for being one of the best in our area of dentistry (only doing All-On-X, implants, reconstruction and veneers, along with general dentistry to support those patients).
We don’t just treat teeth — we support our patients with care that’s designed to last.
We’re committed to creating a workplace where our team is empowered, encouraged, fully supported, and given the opportunity to develop personally and professionally. Together, we strive to stay at the forefront of our industry and continue setting the standard for excellence in dentistry.
What We ValueProgressive Thinking – We encourage new ideas, innovation, and a willingness to grow. Our team is empowered to lead and challenge the norm. We don't just keep doing things the same as they've always been done if there's a better way to evolve.
Above & Beyond – Whether it's with patients or each other, we hold ourselves to a high standard in how we communicate, act, and support those around us.
Defining Moments – We take the time to recognise achievements, support one another, and create a culture where everyone feels valued.
This is a workplace where your work is respected, your contributions matter, and you’re part of something with real momentum.
About the RoleThe purpose of this role is to guide, educate and support patients to successfully maintain their oral health following their treatment and into the future.
You will work within the Oral Health Therapy department to:
Promote oral health to patients in house and to the wider community, with the support of our state of the art in-house marketing team.
Provide patients with up-to-date and innovative periodontal treatment using cutting edge technology by PIEZON - The ‘Airflow’.
Work closely with the dentists to provide detailed oral health education, assess and stabilise the periodontium and provide personalised future maintenance for each patient, including treatment planning.
Work within an established Oral Hygiene department with consistent patient flow
Support and empower patients to encourage them to return & maintain their oral health.
Reduce implant failure, and recurrence of periodontal disease by retaining all maintenance appointments with patients, thorough oral hygiene at each appointment, smoking cessation support, oral hygiene and much much more!
Work within your full scope of practice with support and mentoring of the dentists and entire clinical team.
Expand your clinical skills and knowledge through CPD and other training which is supported by Advanced Dental Artistry. We are providers of evidence based dentistry.
You will also lead the department by:
Take ownership of driving a positive and high-performing culture within the department.
Drive department performance through proactive leadership, accountability and continuous improvement.
Evolve key measures, actively monitor department performance, and contribute to the achievement of key operational and clinical targets.
Uphold practice values and ensure others do the same.
Lead initiatives that enhance the patient experience and contribute to outstanding client outcomes.
You are motivated by the chance to help, to make a real difference in people’s lives. You’re a people person. You love engaging with others and are naturally curious about them. You believe in supporting patients for the long term through truly connecting with them and providing the right education.
You’ve got an awesome eye for detail, you work well under pressure and others would describe you as a positive and enthusiastic in all that you do. You love to find opportunities to do things better. You uphold strong values even when nobody is watching. You're an influencer and able to make positive change happen if it's required. You're open to working with key KPIs or numbers, which you'll help shape and we'll support you in.
You are eager to learn and grow, and become the best you can be, always.
You’ll bring:
At least 1-2 years of experience in an OHT role
OHT qualifications and current AHPRA registration
Experience as a department lead (either in an official capacity, or experience within an OHT role where you had influence and you were a leader but without the job title)
Strong communication and organisational skills
A genuine interest in learning and contributing to a high-functioning team
Bonus points if you have experience with implants, All-On-X, veneers, or reconstruction patients, but not essential so we still encourage OHT's to apply even without exposure to this
Incredibly competitive salary package, based on your experience, skills, and leadership attributes
A four-day work week – enjoy your Fridays off
A smooth transition into the role as you learn
A stylish, modern clinic in central West Perth
A welcoming and forward-thinking team culture
Ongoing development and career progression opportunities
Regular team events and social activities

We’d love to learn more about you.
