LABOURER / COMPACTOR OPERATOR

About the role

T&G Earthmoving Contractors' is seeking a full-time Labourer / Compactor Operator to join our team in O'Connor, Western Australia. This role is crucial in supporting our construction projects, with a focus on operating compaction equipment and providing general labouring support.

What you'll be doing

1. Operating and maintaining various compaction equipment, including plate compactors, walk-behind rollers and hand-operated rammers

2. Assisting with the preparation and compaction of sand , road base and other materials on construction sites

3. Providing general labouring support, such as loading/unloading materials, site cleanup and other manual tasks

4. Ensuring equipment is well-maintained and safely operated

5. Adhering to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures

What we're looking for

1. Previous experience as a Labourer or Compactor Operator in the construction industry

2. Knowledge of compaction equipment operation and maintenance

3. Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications

4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety

5. Excellent teamwork and communication skills

6. Current Construction Induction (White) Card and HR license reqd
