The Vibe

Hello! We are a boutique, caffeine-fuelled creative advertising agency/design studio located in the heart of town. We believe that while advertising is serious business, the process should also be fun. We have socially-minded clients, big ideas, and a team that likes hanging out with each other.

Right now, we are looking for a Finished Artist to join our studio team. We need someone who finds "Zen" in the details and takes pride in getting things 100% perfect, every single time.

The Role

Let’s be real: we produce some beautiful creative campaigns, but a huge backbone of our business involves heavy-duty financial documentation. We’re talking Annual Reports, PDS documents and Journals.

This isn't just about spell-checking; it's about structural precision. You will be the final gatekeeper before files go to print or digital. You are the person who spots a double space from across the room and knows exactly how to handle complex style sheets without breaking a sweat.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Mastering the Long-Format: Laying out and finalising complex multi-page documents (Annual Reports, PDS’s, forms, fact sheets etc.) with speed and accuracy.
• The Technical Stuff: Strong use of style sheets, Master pages, tables and tabs a must. Strong understanding of print specifications i.e. colour profiles, layering, knockouts etc.
• Creative Support: Jumping in to help the Designers with basic design layouts in InDesign when the studio gets manic.
• Polishing: Using your Photoshop wizardry to retouch images so they look their absolute best.

The "Must-Haves"

• Adobe Expert: You know InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop like the back of your hand.
• Patience of a Saint: You can handle rounds of changes on financial documents without losing your cool.
• Eagle Eyes: Your attention to detail is unmatched. Nothing gets past you.
• PowerPoint: Yep, some of our clients still want presentations in PP!

The "Nice-to-Haves" (We’ll love you forever if you have these)

• FIGMA: We also work a lot in the digital space, so knowledge here is a massive plus.
• Microsoft Office Suite: Can you make a PowerPoint deck look like a designer touched it? Can you wrangle data in Excel or format a Word doc so it doesn't break? If yes, you’re our unicorn.
• Project Management: Be able to liaise with clients regarding ongoing changes to large projects.
• Proofing: Strong attention to detail and able to proofread documents for spelling/punctuation and sense when the proofreader is overloaded.
