Spare Parts Interpreter

An opportunity is now available for an experienced Spare Parts Interpreter to join our established team at our Dry Creek site.

This is a customer-focused position suited to an experienced automotive parts professional who takes pride in providing accurate advice and dependable service.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Interpreting and identifying automotive parts accurately

• Responding to customer, workshop and internal parts enquiries

• Processing parts orders, invoices and related documentation

• Providing professional service by phone, email and in person

• Liaising with technicians, service advisors and suppliers

• Monitoring orders and keeping customers informed

• Assisting with stock control and general parts-department duties

• Building positive relationships with internal and external customers

To be successful in this position, you will ideally have:

• Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter within an automotive dealership

• Strong automotive parts knowledge

• Previous sales and customer-service experience

• Excellent telephone, communication and interpersonal skills

• Sound computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office

• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Strong organisational and time-management skills

• A motivated, reliable and professional approach

• The ability to contribute positively within a close-knit team

• A current Australian driver’s licence

Experience using dealership management systems and electronic parts catalogues will be highly regarded.
