DEPUTY PRINCIPAL - WELLBEING & COMMUNITY (YEARS 7 -12)

As Deputy Principal – Wellbeing & Community, you'll join our Senior Leadership Team to lead student wellbeing, behaviour, pastoral care and community engagement across Years 7–12. You'll work alongside staff, students and families to foster a culture where high expectations are matched by genuine care, and where every young person is supported to flourish.

This is an opportunity to shape the culture of a growing Catholic College and influence the lives of young people through authentic leadership, strong relationships and a commitment to student wellbeing.

Duties
•Lead student wellbeing, pastoral care and behaviour across Years 7–12. 
•Develop a culture of belonging, inclusion and high expectations. 
•Build the capability of Year Coordinators and pastoral leaders. 
•Strengthen partnerships with families to support student success. 
•Lead student leadership, attendance and wellbeing initiatives. 
•Use evidence and data to continually improve student engagement and wellbeing.

Skills & Experience
You will bring:
•Significant leadership experience in secondary education. 
•Demonstrated success leading student wellbeing and pastoral care. 
•Expertise in behaviour support and restorative practices. 
•Outstanding leadership and relationship-building skills. 
•Ability to build trust with students, families and staff. 
•Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education.

Qualifications Required
•Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education
•Certificate in Visible Wellbeing (highly desirable)
•Postgraduate qualifications in leadership or a related field (desirable) 
•Accreditation to Lead in a Catholic school (or making progress towards) 
•Current registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA)
•Current Working with Children Check
