About the Business 

Hidrive Group Pty Ltd is a 100% Australian owned company. Our business designs, manufactures and installs Hidrive Service Bodies and accessories for Light Commercial Vehicles and Trucks. Hidrive Service Bodies are known for their reliability and quality. We have a great team with specialised knowledge of their market sector, servicing clients ranging from single operator businesses, SME’s, Corporate Fleets, Federal, State and Local Government Departments. 

About the role

As a Supply Chain Assistant, you will primarily support the procurement activities of the department while also providing assistance across Stores and Logistics to support the broader Supply Chain team.

This is a predominantly administration-based role; however, there will be opportunities to assist with hands-on support in the Stores function as required.

This position is offered as a 12-month fixed-term contract with the potential for a permanent opportunity, subject to business needs.

Key Accountabilities

• Supporting the department’s activities in line with established procedures, including:
• Procurement
• General department administration.
• Raising purchase orders, supplier follow-up and associated administration.
• Processing supplier warranty claims.
• Raising orders for internally manufactured stock items.
• Maintaining supplier and inventory data.

Stores

• Assisting with monthly stocktakes.
• Processing stock receipt documentation.
• Providing general administrative support, including stock label maintenance.

Projects

• Supporting departmental projects through data collection, reporting and record keeping.
