Summer Casual

We are searching for enthusiastic, passionate, and highly motivated Summer Casuals to join our friendly team! We are looking for juniors/casuals for our Red Decker sales marquee located outside Macquarie 1 on Hobart's picturesque waterfront. If you have a great personality, are highly motivated, and enthusiastic, have excellent customer service skills, and have a passion for tourism we would love to hear from you!

Who We Are

Red Decker is the official sightseeing tour of Hobart, operating the iconic red open-top Double Decker hop-on and hop-off city service. We also operate the Kunanyi/Mt Wellington Explorer Bus and Coal River Valley Explorer Bus. We are a locally owned family business with over 25 years of experience in tourism and we are very excited to welcome you to our team!

Requirements

• You MUST be available to work throughout the period of November 2026 to the end of February 2027 (including weekdays, Boxing Day, New Year's and Weekends).

• Red Decker operates seven days a week, so flexibility is essential. 

• Experience is beneficial but not required.

Your roles and responsibilities 

• Setting up and packing up the Red Decker marquee for Cruise Ship days

• Selling tickets at the Cruise Ship Terminal

• Providing information to Cruise Ship passengers about our products

• Selling tickets on our Double Decker Busses 

• Assisting with the general operations on Cruise Ship days
