About The Role
We’re seeking a Senior Designer / Senior Architect to join our Infrastructure team in our Adelaide Studio and contribute to the delivery of high-quality projects, with a particular focus on data centre design, production, detailed documentation and peer review. In this role, you’ll undertake detailed architectural and technical work with minimal supervision, leading or assisting in project delivery while ensuring positive design, client, team, and financial outcomes.
Partner with the project team to understand client needs, liaising directly with clients and contractors as requiredContribute to the delivery of projects and project packages on timeEnsuring the project leader is informed of all technical or design aspects of the job to perform their roleRecommend technical document production for projectsManage delivery of approved technical and design document productionExecute the performance management processRole model Architectus culture and valuesAttend and provide valued input at management meetingsInput and perform network development, knowledge management, employee mentoring, operational improvement and design review processes initiatives
About You
We look forward to welcoming a talented senior technician / designer who possesses and experienced with the following to join our team. Ideally you will have:
Data centre experience is preferred but not essential. Relevant complex building experience with heavy services coordination such as laboratories, advanced manufacturing, rail or aviation will be looked at favourablyExtensive technical experience taking projects from concept through to IFC.Excellent technical and documentation skills.Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.The ability to develop creative yet practical design and technical solutions.A strong understanding of architectural documentation and coordination requirements.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members.
