About the role
About Us
Pimpama Physiotherapy is a growing multidisciplinary allied health practice in Pimpama, delivering in-clinic and mobile physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and remedial massage across the Gold Coast, Logan, and Brisbane. We support participants and clients funded through NDIS, NIISQ, Support at Home, DVA, WorkCover, and Medicare.
We're a close-knit, patient-focused team that genuinely cares about outcomes — for our clients and for each other. As we grow our team, we're looking for someone who can independently manage their own caseload in the community.
About the role
We're seeking a passionate and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team delivering mobile and community-based therapy across the Gold Coast. You'll work independently and directly in clients' homes and communities, helping them build independence, participate in everyday life, and achieve what matters to them.
Key responsibilities
Conducting functional and home assessments, Functional Capacity Assessments (FCAs), and home modification recommendations
Assistive technology prescription and equipment trials
Developing and delivering individualised therapy plans for aged care and NDIS patients
Writing clear, high-quality reports (progress reports, AT letters of support, capacity assessments)
Collaborating with our physiotherapy and remedial massage team for genuinely integrated client care
Building relationships with support coordinators, families, and referral partners across the region
About you
Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy with current AHPRA registration
Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle for community-based work
Experience with Support at Home Program (My Aged Care) and/or NDIS
Confident, empathetic communicator who builds rapport easily with clients and families
Strong clinical reasoning and a genuine love of community-based, client-centred work
Comfortable working autonomously while staying connected to a supportive team
Benefits
Competitive commission
Flexible hours to suit your lifestyle
Mobile/community caseload — spend your day out in the community, not stuck behind a desk (geriatric and neurological caseload)
A warm, collaborative team culture where your input is genuinely valued
Real opportunity to help shape and grow our OT service as the team expands
