About the role

We are seeking an experienced Painter/Blaster to join our ISO 9001-accredited manufacturing facility based in Cardiff. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, this hands-on role involves surface preparation, blasting and industrial coating of components to meet quality, safety and production standards. You’ll work as part of a supportive workshop team in a structured environment with consistent workflows and a strong focus on quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities:

• Operate both abrasive blasting and coating equipment in Imatech’s workshop or on site as required

• Performing quality inspections to ensure customer specifications are met

• Complete and fill out all required QA Documentation to company requirement

• Operate machinery used in the production process, or assist machine operators

• Read gauges and charts, and record data obtained

• Mix resins according to specified procedures and formulas

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in industrial painting and blasting (desirable)

• Cert III Blasting and Painting (desirable)

• Ability to work successfully within a team and autonomously

• Strong commitment to delivering high quality work to meet customer requirements

• Commitment to meet all company and client WHS responsibilities

• Display a positive and enthusiastic work ethic, be a proactive team member who is willing to pitch in and get the job done
