We’re looking for an experienced Boat Builder / Boat Repairer to join our marine repair workshop in Braeside on a part-time contractor basis.

The role is hands-on and suited to someone with experience in fibreglass boat repairs, boat building and general marine restoration work.

Duties may include:

• Fibreglass repairs and laminating
• Gelcoat and flowcoat repairs/finishing
• Structural repairs including floors, stringers and transoms
• Sanding, grinding and surface preparation
• Marine fit-out and hardware installation
• General boat repairs and restoration
• Working independently to complete jobs to a high standard

What we're looking for:

• Previous boat building, fibreglass or marine repair experience
• Good attention to detail
• Reliable and able to work unsupervised
• Own basic hand tools preferred
• Current ABN required
• Available for part-time work at our Braeside workshop

Rate: $40 per hour.

This would suit an experienced boat builder, shipwright or fibreglass repairer looking for flexible part-time contracting work.
