About the role
An ACYA Women's Network Officer is an Appointed Position on the ACYA National Executive reporting to the State Manager.
Women's Network Officers are primarily responsible for the execution of Women's Network Initiatives such as the International Women's Day luncheon. This includes event content, operations and marketing. Their objective is to ensure opportunities for women in the ACYA community.
Primary Responsibilities
Assist with organising events and initiatives, including sourcing speakers, bookings venues, and securing caterings;Liaise with the ACYA Partnerships team to raise funds for the Women's Network;Ensure bilingual content is available to members; andTrack and promote gender equality and diversity across ACYA initiatives.
Requirements
Time commitment of ~3-4 hours/week;Ability to work well within small teams;(Optional) Excellent written and oral communication skills;(Optional) Event management experience; and(Optional) Demonstrated understanding of social media engagement.
